JOS. is a self taught contemporary and minimalist photographer from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Without committing explicitly to a certain style one could say his style is moody or to make it sound a bit more profound ‘sombresque’. The often desolated images are reflections of Jos’ search for silence, which in his perspective stands for a holy place where there is no (or less) distraction from the common world and photography becomes a form of spiritual practice.
